Ms Thornton was a world traveler. She spent much of her childhood playing at the family business, The Brumley Hotel in Greeneville, now known as the General Moran Inn. Many of the antique furniture pieces were inherited from Eva Brumley Kenney, who once was the owner and operator of the Brumley Hotel. There are several outstanding pieces in this collection.
