Col. Donald R Perrin and SMS De Perrin met at Grissom AFB were married in 1981.  My husband and I spent our lifetimes devoted in militry and Federal Civilian Servie and throughout the years we had opportunities to purchase and acquire, very unique and rare artifacts – Dons passion was WW2 German militaria – and over the course of more than 40 years – he amassed an amazing collection.  Dons “besties”, John Bursado, Hohn Jacobi and Greg Baker traveled every year to the Louisville, KY annual gun show, and many other collectors shows over the years.  Some guys have “man caves”; Don had a Military Collection Room that encompassed our entire lower level and was complete with entirely correct german paratrooper manikins (sic)!  His expertise was recognized USA-wide and he was known by many specialists in the WWII collectors world. Don passed in January of 2022 and will be interred in Alington Cemetery later this year.

Other items may be shipped by third party shipper – UPS store #2630 on Kingston Pike, here in Knoxville. We do not sell Firearms to CA or HI!! ALL Firearms must be picked up in person OR shipped to your local FFL dealer. Powell Auction does NOT accept C&R Licenses. We will not ship any firearm to a C&R!!! You must be 18 years old to purchase a long gun and 21 years old to purchase a handgun. You must pass a background check to receive a firearm, from Powell Auction or your local FFL dealer.  If you come to the auction and purchase a firearm: if you live in a touching state to TN (except VA), you may do your background check on Long Guns ONLY!!!  Hand Guns must be shipped to your local FFL Dealer in your state. All other states will have to have Long Guns and Hand Guns shipped to your local FFL Dealer (VA you fall into this catagory).  Powell Auction has not checked any firearm or ammunition, including flares, for functionality.  These are WWII era firearms, ammunitions and flares.  It is the buyers responsibility to have them checked by a qualified gunsmith prior to use.  These are being sold as is, as WWII relics.  These items have not been authenticated!!  Be your own judge as to age, correctness, condition and authenticity.  No guarantee as to being authentic or reproduction.  Inspection period is available.  No Refunds!!
