Morgan County Board Of Education Surplus Vehicle Auction – Wartburg, TN
Morgan County Board of Education has hired Powell Auction to offer 8 Surplus Vehicles to be sold at auction. The auction will run from Monday, September 16 – Friday, October 4 as an online only bidding auction.
Any questions about the sale of these vehicles or about the vehicles themselves should be addressed to Mr. Keith Duncan at the Morgan County Schools Transportation Dept. at 136 Flat Fork Rd., Wartburg, TN 37887 – 423-346-3730. If you would like to preview the vehicles, please contact Mr. Duncan.
Morgan County Board Of Education reserves the right to accept or reject each and all bids for this auction. All vehicles do have their titles. One passenger car and 2 school buses do not run. One passenger car and one non-running school bus does not have batteries. All vehicles have their keys. The pickup truck, 2 box trucks, 1 school bus and the gold passenger car do run and drive.

Lots will start closing on Friday, October 4 @ 12:00pm noon EDT – soft close

15% Buyers Premium will be added to the total bid price. Sales Tax will be due on each vehicle. Payment will need to be paid to Powell Auction, 6729 Pleasant Ridge Rd., Knoxville, TN 37921 before you can pick up any vehicle. Payment is due on Monday, October 7. Payment is payable by Cash, Cashiers Check or Wire Transfer ONLY!! We will not charge a vehicle to a credit card. If you need a drive out tag, you may obtain that from Powell Auction at time of payment. If you purchase a non-running vehicle, it will be the buyers responsiblity to secure a towing company to pick up the vehicle from Wartburg, TN.
Directions
From Knoxville: Take Highway 62 (Oak Ridge Hwy) through Oak Ridge, through Oliver Springs and on to Wartburg. Turn Right onto Flat Fork Rd. (across from the new Dollar General Store), Turn Right into the Morgan County Schools Transportation Dept. Drive. If you get to the Correctional Facility, you have gone too far!!! Turn around!!!!
